1st January 2020 was full of promise. Not only was it the beginning of a New Year, but it was the beginning of a New Decade. Little did we know what was to come, and we were confronted by something unprecedented within weeks. The whole world came to a stop. The true spirit of Givers Gain came to surface as our members demonstrated how powerful the network could be, not only for business but also for moral and mental support.

1st January 2021 was full of hope. We had all endured a tough ten months in so many different ways. We learned that normal was never to return, and we will have to adjust to the ‘new normal.’ Our routines had changed as our lives were upheaved. We learned that face-to-face enhances relationship-building but adapting and embracing technology can help in continuing to nurture those relationships using online meetings.
