Bhawna Nihalani, the founder of Wellness with B and the representative for the Nutritionist category in BNI Rising Phoenix, whose networking prowess has driven incredible success in the health and wellness industry and is a shining example of how strategic networking can transform a career.
Every Thursday, our WhatsApp group buzzes with excitement as Bhawna’s “Healthy Food Plate Award” is announced. Once a finance expert in Dubai, educated in Boston, Bhawna made a bold move in 2017. Leaving behind a corporate job, she pursued her true calling in health and wellness, becoming a certified Health Coach from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition (IIN) and a Yoga Alliance YTT-200 yoga teacher.
Her journey took a meaningful turn when she helped a friend manage diabetes and weight gain through her gut health program. This experience solidified her mission to transform lives, positively impacting 150-200 individuals annually.
Bhawna’s real transformation began when she joined BNI. “I used to feel so lonely in my entrepreneurial journey, but BNI completely transformed me,” Bhawna shares. “Since joining Rising Phoenix six months ago, I haven’t had a single day of feeling demotivated.”
Within six months, 20% of the chapter members enrolled in her Gut Health programs, and she received 10 testimonials from fellow members, highlighting key achievements. Bhawna also partnered with hotel staff to introduce healthier breakfast options for Rising Phoenix members, a unique initiative in corporate meetings. The menu is now more nutritious and cleaner, with bananas and dates offered before the meeting to discourage having coffee or tea first thing in the morning. Fried foods have been replaced with chia seeds, fruits, and baked items.
Bhawna’s story is a testament to the power of purpose and networking. Her journey with BNI showcases the incredible support and growth that comes from being part of such a network, and how important is building connections in this world . Bhawna’s success reminds us that everyone has the power to make a difference, you just need to have the right connections.
