Think building relationships across countries is difficult? Meet Sapna Aidasani, a wonder woman who connects with BNI members worldwide, exchanging weekly thank-you notes with colleagues across borders. As a proud member of BNI Rising Phoenix for over a decade, Sapna, a Corporate and Luxury Travel influencer, heads the Marketing division at Pluto Travels, UAE. Her story is one of courage and determination, shattering traditional barriers and breaking the ‘Glass Ceiling.’
Sapna comes from a business family in India where men ran businesses and women managed the home. Aspiring for more, she moved to Ahmedabad for education and multimedia courses. Her communication skills soon landed her a sales job, balancing work with studies. During this time, Sapna met Bharat Aidasani, a visionary with a travel company in Dubai. They married in 2007 and settled in Dubai.
Encouraged by her mother-in-law to join Bharat’s business, Sapna eagerly embraced sales and corporate engagement, marking the start of her dynamic journey. Starting with door-to-door marketing, she secured clients like the Bank of Azerbaijan, Mashreq Gold, and Binsina Pharmacy. A 2013 meeting with Italy’s Mayor of Tourism led to global travel invites, sparking her travel blog, now with 50K followers. Her BNI journey began in 2014 and continues to thrive.
BNI support was crucial during the COVID-19 pandemic, helping Sapna and Bharat achieve their dream with PLUTO AIRLINE, reuniting people stranded from their loved ones in India.
Sapna’s notable opportunity was facilitating a BNI conclave between Dubai and Israel, organized through a BNI Mumbai member. In 2016, Pluto Travel managed travel for 100 fans of Saina Nehwal to Dubai, ensuring a seamless experience.
Through BNI, Sapna and Bharat transformed connections into valuable business opportunities, leveraging a global network for resources, expertise, and markets otherwise out of reach. BNI’s support has been crucial, demonstrating that collaboration and networking can drive significant achievements even in challenging times.
